Job Title: Reservations Manager

As a key member of the Middletons Tours team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our business. This involves preparing important information for customers, handling sales inquiries, and actively seeking new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, while maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient customer service, projecting the quality image of Middletons Tours.
  • Ensure all customer expectations and requirements are exceeded throughout the sales experience.
  • Meet personal sales targets, profit targets, and activity levels as required for the role.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to ensure specific requirements are met.
  • Be aware of the sales system at all times, communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances, optional bookings, and group holds.
  • Be sales-driven, motivated, and see every call as an opportunity.
  • Communicate with customers via telephone and email to discuss important information prior to departure.
  • Admin duties – assist with room requests, understand customers' needs, and liaise with hotels/suppliers to ensure requirements are met.
  • Attention to detail is essential, with a focus on remembering key information and maintaining a professional telephone manner.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European geography.
  • Keen interest in the products offered by Middletons Tours and the coaching industry.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in an organized manner.
  • Confidence with standard Microsoft packages, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with leadership and the wider team.
  • Ability to manage your own day effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
