Senior Computational Chemist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Computational Chemist to join our growing Cheminformatics & Computational Chemistry team at Amphista Therapeutics Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a significant role in advancing our small molecule Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the computational chemistry support for multiple TPD drug programmes, working closely with fellow computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and project teams.
- Gather, analyse, and report on biomolecular and ternary complex structural data to derive novel insights into SAR and TPD mechanisms.
- Build, evaluate, and deliver structure- and ligand-based models to advance our TPD projects.
- Apply a wide range of computer-aided drug design techniques to design targeted protein degraders.
- Work with the team to identify and develop innovative approaches to expand our computational chemistry capabilities.
- PhD in Computational Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Significant experience in computational chemistry, biomolecular structural analysis, and computational modelling techniques.
- Strong scientific leadership skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
