About the Role
As a key member of the Barrett Steel Limited team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role is based at our Saltney site, where you will work closely with colleagues to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick computer-generated orders with repetitive handling and lifting of heavy and large items.
- Load, cut, and offload steel using saws and other equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and stock management.
- Transfer stock to its location using a forklift truck.
- Assist in the production and dispatch of customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to high health and safety standards.
- Be adaptable and flexible to meet operational requirements.
- Operate machinery after receiving proper training.
- Perform other duties as required.

Essential Skills
- Experience in a warehouse or heavy industry environment.

- Bandsaw, side-loader, or forklift experience desirable.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Valid driving license.
