Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our construction projects in the North East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Lead and manage site teams, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and site operatives.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to and manage site safety audits.
- Develop and maintain project programs, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary.
- Coordinate with the project manager, client, and design team to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Manage site logistics, including deliveries, plant, and materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain site records, including daily reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement contingency plans as required.
- Lead site meetings and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior site managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Proven experience in a senior site management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
