Position Overview

IGES Institute is a prominent private-sector research and consultancy organization specializing in infrastructure and health, forming the backbone of the IGES Group. With a workforce exceeding 200 professionals from diverse fields such as medicine, economics, natural and social sciences, pharmacy, statistics, and informatics, the IGES Group operates across multiple countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, and Switzerland.

IGES UK Pharma Ltd. is a newly established entity within the UK, designed to provide strategic guidance to clients regarding early trial planning and the launch of innovative medications within the NHS framework to ensure reimbursement.

To enhance our existing team in the Market Access domain, we are seeking a

Market Access Consultant

to join us in a hybrid working environment.

Our objective is to broaden our market access consulting services in the UK by delivering comprehensive strategic support from initial trial planning to drug launch and securing reimbursement for innovative therapies. Collaborating with the broader IGES Group, our vision is to offer a complete service from strategy formulation to submission for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The consultant will play a crucial role in client engagements, leveraging exceptional communication, project management, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing a variety of market access projects for both existing and new UK-local accounts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, in close collaboration with the Director and colleagues with specialized delivery expertise.
  • Managing projects to ensure profitability while upholding high client satisfaction levels.
  • Working alongside colleagues in other IGES functions to define and implement solutions that address cross-functional client requirements.
  • Coordinating with various IGES departments to support the acquisition and execution of multi-country projects that include UK components, as well as specific UK-focused initiatives.
  • Adhering to all relevant IGES UK Pharma policies, processes, and procedures, while safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information handled by IGES.
  • Enhancing the visibility of IGES UK Pharma in the Market Access sector through various initiatives.
  • Staying informed about upcoming market launches and changes in NHS policies.
  • Engaging in stakeholder activities, including high-quality proposal writing and project reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 honors degree, preferably a Master's degree with a background in Health Economics.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Market Access within the UK pharmaceutical or consultancy sectors (minimum of 2 years).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment, meeting tight deadlines while demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK/EU without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
