About the Role

As a passionate and driven leader, you will spearhead our Condo (customer-owned assets) and CMO businesses at our state-of-the-art fill & finish manufacturing facility in Swindon. This site is experiencing significant growth following substantial investments, presenting an exciting opportunity to expand the business and meet the demands of our diverse customer base.

Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager of the Drug Product Division EU-APAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this facility. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will be instrumental in driving success across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all Condo & CMO operations on site, taking full responsibility for the P&L.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to acquire new business by expanding services to existing clients and onboarding new partners into the Thermo Fisher network.
  • Identify opportunities and implement initiatives aligned with the Drug Product Division's strategy, ensuring short-term performance goals are met while driving long-term growth, margin improvement, and working capital optimization.
  • Coordinate and lead critical new product introductions, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of CAPEX projects, including strategic initiatives such as the launch of new manufacturing departments.
  • Guarantee on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with operational, business, and functional leaders to establish a shared site vision and approach.
  • Drive cultural change through controlled execution initiatives across all functions, ensuring alignment with expected results and key performance indicators.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams by leveraging complementary strengths, identifying talent gaps, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges, implementing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
