Position Overview

We are excited to offer a distinctive opportunity for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our innovative neuropsychology team. This role will provide you with the chance to enhance your expertise across various inpatient and community neuropsychology environments. Our neuropsychology service is dedicated to delivering high-quality psychological care and support to individuals with neurological conditions.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will collaborate closely with experienced professionals, including a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Principal Clinical Psychologist. This position is ideal for those looking to advance their career, with opportunities for mentorship and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized neuropsychological services to patients, including comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and risk management.
  • Provide expert psychological supervision and support to junior staff within neuro-rehabilitation services.
  • Offer training, guidance, and consultation to other healthcare professionals to aid in the treatment and formulation of patient care.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and referral pathways with primary and secondary care teams.
  • Oversee electronic systems for managing referrals, appointments, and performance monitoring, ensuring continuous service evaluation.
  • Collaborate with practice group teams, consisting of qualified psychologists and support staff, to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological services within multidisciplinary teams, fostering positive working relationships.
  • Assist senior neuropsychologists in leading training initiatives and policy development related to mental health legislation.
