Your Responsibilities:

At Asda, we prioritize the health and wellbeing of our customers, ensuring they receive top-notch patient care. Our extended service agreements with the NHS allow us to provide comprehensive care for the assessment and management of minor eye conditions. Your duties will include conducting patient screenings, mentoring and training team members, and upholding departmental standards. Asda is committed to equipping Optometrists with thorough training and support to address customers' eye care requirements. You will have access to various training programs and assistance from in-store, regional, and corporate teams.

About You:

Asda values excellence in service and aims to create unforgettable customer experiences. Working alongside an Optical Manager, you will help foster an environment that merges clinical proficiency with operational effectiveness. Key duties include mentoring, training, and developing innovative patient services to cater to customer needs. To qualify, you must be a fully accredited optometrist registered with the GOC, a registered performer with the NHS area team or health board, and possess a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

For any Optical position, GOC registration and the Right To Work in the UK are essential. Compliance entails providing proof of being on the NHS performer list, clinical references, and necessary accreditations.
