About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a Band 5 Registered Nurse, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, monitoring, and support to patients in a seriously ill or unstable condition.
  • Actively engage with emergency admissions, planned admissions, and post-surgery patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and understanding of clinical information.
  • Safely identify, prepare, check, and assemble equipment required for operating lists.
  • Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct and maintain the highest standards of nursing practice.
  • Take blood, fit cannulas, and undertake patient observations as needed throughout the shift.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, perform assessments, and make referrals as necessary.
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges to and from the ward, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Be a Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • Hold at least 2 years of post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Pass an enhanced background check to ensure the highest level of trust and security.
