We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Associate Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Wastewater Team in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading hydraulic modelling frameworks, working with a leading UK Water Company.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects.
- Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
- Manage and/or support project managers to manage projects and programmes of works.
- Supervise and develop staff, providing guidance to support their professional development.
- Contribute towards technical innovation and lead improvement workgroups.
- Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
- Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
- Expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
- Ability to review work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Expertise in MS 365 applications, and knowledge in areas such as PowerBI and SharePoint.
- Experience working with software such as FME, Optimatics, Ruby (or similar) would be advantageous.
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification.
- Chartered with a relevant professional institution (i.e. ICE or CIWEM) would be advantageous.
