About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead to join our team at Careeraddict. As a key member of our Core Banking team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our Core Banking platforms globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more of the domains/products/applications supported by RPS.
  • Provide expertise in system/solution design, organizational change, and technical change.
  • Deliver solutions across multiple mechanisms/methodologies with a focus on continuous delivery and incremental business outcomes.
  • Participate and influence product planning and strategy sessions.
  • Validate deliverables to meet stakeholder needs, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide a customer-centric approach to all aspects of the role.
  • Assess and articulate the impact of changes/incidents on the system to stakeholders.
  • Provide system expertise to resolve production incidents.
  • Perform regular risk assessments.
  • Identify potential functional risks and challenges early in the project life cycle.
  • Mentor new technologists entering the domain or the role.
  • Document user guides, knowledge materials, and blogs about business impacts/benefits of product deliveries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and practices to align deliverables with market changes.
Requirements
  • Experience with RPS hosted on IBM z-Series Mainframe.
  • Experience with Cobol in batch and online (CICS) environments supported by a DB2 database.
  • Experience working within a banking organization.
Desirable Skills
  • Track record of analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Delivery across multiple projects/platforms.
  • Support for issue resolution.
  • Functional support and strong relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders.
