Job Summary: Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Environmental Consultant to join our team in Southampton.
About the Role: As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for specializing in flood risk, groundwater, and surface water management. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide expert advice and support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrogeological impact assessments and water quality analysis.
- Develop and implement water framework directive assessments and GIS mapping.
- Interpret flood risk and drainage assessments and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their environmental needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Participate in site visits and provide on-site support to clients.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geography, or Environmental Management.
- Strong academic background and a keen interest in hydrogeology, water quality, flood risk, and hydrology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
