Temp Station Ltd is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in Normanton. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods and materials across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the movement of goods and materials using radial vehicles and subcontractors.
- Monitor driver locations and ensure timely collections and deliveries.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage trailer allocations and book vehicles with suppliers.
- Provide comprehensive job lists for drivers and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in a similar environment preferred
- Extensive knowledge of the UK road network and geographical areas
