About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Educator to join our team at New Barn School & Groveside School, part of the Outcomes First Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: To provide a high-quality education service for our students, planning, delivering, and teaching individual students or small groups in accordance with the School's Curriculum framework and related policies.
  • Student Progress: To monitor, record, and report on student progress, ensuring that students make satisfactory progress at an appropriate rate.
  • Curriculum Development: To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan, ensuring that the curriculum is relevant and effective in meeting the needs of our students.
  • Classroom Management: To organize the classroom, its resources, student groupings, and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation appropriate for students, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: To work effectively with colleagues, including Learning Support Assistants, Tutors, and Instructors, to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and supportive education.
  • Behaviour Management: To work with and manage challenging behaviour, enabling students to develop from needing external control to developing self-control.

Requirements:
