English Language and Literature Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language and Literature Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and implementation
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English Language and Literature or a related field
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and its implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Degree in English Language and Literature or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching English language and literature is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of English language and literature, including grammar, syntax, and literary analysis
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques and technology integration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Working Conditions:

Regular school hours, classroom teaching environment, potential for extracurricular involvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
