Personal Injury Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Administrator to join our team in Ipswich. As a key member of our accident team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients who have been involved in non-fault road traffic accidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with post and communications, ensuring timely and efficient processing of client information.
  • Coordinate photocopying and filing for the team, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and submit forms and paperwork necessary for client files, including file closing and opening.
  • Provide day-to-day support to our fee earners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the PI team to input data received from claimants and submit claims on behalf of the fee earners.
  • Send instructions to medical agencies for treatment and/or appointments, and request medical records as needed.
  • Collect ID documents from clients and liaise with our Central File Opening team to ensure all client files are opened.
  • Deal with requests for information, checking archived files for payments and updating clients regularly on behalf of the team.
  • Make and receive calls to/from clients, third parties, and medical agencies, providing excellent client service.
Requirements:
  • Previous office-based experience in an administrative role, with a strong understanding of office equipment and software.
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible approach to work, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on client service and satisfaction.
