The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our Lab and Product Services department, you will be responsible for managing inventory and logistics in a laboratory setting at our brand-new facility.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 - 17:00 (with the possibility of shifts being extended to 19:00).

The Team:

You will be part of a global team of associates supporting pharmaceutical companies and laboratories worldwide in the Life Sciences industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Desirable experience in a similar environment
  • Exposure to stock ordering software

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and control processes
  • Oversee inventory activities using the Inventory Management System
  • Handle hazardous materials and shipping documentation
