Bar Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.

As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for the operational running of the bars, including increasing beverage sales, ensuring staff are fulfilling their duties, and leading by example.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar and cellar management, experience of budget management and cost control, and a proven track record of driving sales through innovative and proactive approaches.

You will be responsible for managing a team of bar staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing bar operations, including stock control, cash handling, and product ordering
  • Leading a team of bar staff, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Driving sales through innovative and proactive approaches, including keeping up with current bar trends
  • Managing budgets and controlling costs, including stock, cash handling, and product ordering
