Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technical expertise and leadership across various projects involving distribution and transmission networks, as well as renewable energy developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct technical assessments including protection coordination, arc flash analysis, dynamic and transient studies, harmonic analysis, short-circuit evaluations, and techno-economic analyses, particularly focusing on generation systems such as Wind Farms (HVAC/HVDC) and PV/BESS, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare, review, and endorse comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Assist in the development of high-quality proposals and bids for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Act as a representative of RINA during client presentations related to bids and project updates.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels within RINA and external organizations as necessary.
  • Oversee project management and team coordination for small to medium-sized initiatives, including resource allocation, progress monitoring, cost tracking, invoicing assistance, and client communication.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field is required.
  • Chartered Engineer status or progress towards it is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in power system analysis and grid connection studies within generation, transmission, or distribution sectors.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in customer relationship management, along with experience in business development activities.
  • Proficient in modern simulation software and electrical circuit modeling tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, DigSILENT Powerfactory, ETAP, Python, and ERACS.
