We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide support in our Early Years department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for our pupils.
- **Job Type:** Part-time, mornings only, Monday to Friday
- **Rate:** Competitive £15 per hour
- **Contract:** Temporary with potential for permanence
- **School Type:** Ofsted-rated 'good' school
The ideal candidate will possess:
- **Relevant Qualifications:** Desired, but not essential
- **Availability:** Able to start following the February half-term break
- **DBS:** Must have or be able to obtain a child-only DBS
Responsibilities will include:
- **Supporting Classroom Tasks:** Assisting with day-to-day classroom activities
- **Collaborating with Teachers:** Working closely with the class teacher to create a harmonious atmosphere for pupils
- **Individual Support:** Providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help
- **Identifying Learning Gaps:** Recognizing areas where pupils may need extra support and reporting back to the class teacher
