Position Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering Department by delivering efficient and effective services in various areas, including:

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a comparable engineering setting. The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate the ability to propose alternative design options
Technical Skills

Key technical competencies include:

  • Creation of comprehensive drawings for manufacturing and assembly, with a solid understanding of welding principles and geometric tolerancing
  • Conducting design reviews, capturing lessons learned, and effectively communicating findings
  • Supporting both internal and external stakeholders through clear communication and provision of technical data
Experience Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role is required. Additional competencies include:

  • Project management skills, including problem-solving, planning, and decision-making
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software, with experience in sheet metal design
