Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Dudley. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and Creo.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing mechanical components and systems
- Liaising with manufacturing providers to ensure efficient production
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and drawings
- Updating 3D models and drawings as required
- Inputting parts into the MRP system and creating BOMs
- Checking drawings for sign off
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
