About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Haringey. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for assessing and providing expert advice to service users and carers with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of service users and carers to identify their needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on equipment and home modifications to support service users in maintaining their independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and minimize the need for care packages.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful environment for service users, prioritizing dignity and well-being.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
  • Manual handling experience and knowledge of adaptation techniques.
  • HCPC Registration and Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
