We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our Adaptations Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide support and equipment to enhance independence and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact and assess residents waiting for adaptations to make their properties accessible.
- Work with families of disabled children, older people, and adults with disabilities or long-term health conditions to support their independence.
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication, confident IT skills, and exceptional customer care.
- Develop skills in social care assessments and learn from Occupational Therapists.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement solutions to improve accessibility and independence.
Requirements:
- Experience working in customer care and with older or disabled people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confident IT skills and ability to learn new applications.
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
