Project Controls Engineer

At Turner & Townsend Group, we're looking for a skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Project Controls Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering successful projects across various sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our clients to deliver best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource, and Performance Management Solutions. You'll be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collate progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
  2. Collate cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests & update cost report
  3. Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
  4. Support the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes

Qualifications:

  1. Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment
  2. Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios
  3. Experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications
  4. Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  6. Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
