About the Role
The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Children's Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and their families in a dynamic and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess care needs and develop and implement programs of care under the supervision of a senior nurse.
- Deliver high-quality care within agreed standards and the framework of team nursing.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm, competence, hard work, flexibility, and the ability to deliver optimum care to children and their families in challenging acute settings.
- Ability to work in any area within the Trust where children are nursed.
- Full-time and part-time hours available, including internal rotation to night duty and weekends.
