Institutional Sales Professional, Italy/Southern Europe

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Specialist to join our team in Italy/Southern Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with various teams across Jane Street to deliver exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit sales and sales trading, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple stakeholders and external business partners, and communicating complex financial information to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients in Italy and Southern Europe
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to pursue them
- Provide exceptional client service, including responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with Fixed Income Trading, Marketing, Strategy, and Technology teams to deliver client feedback and inform product development
- Represent Jane Street at conferences and events, and engage with clients and prospects to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
About You
- 7+ years of credit sales/sales trading experience at a bank
- Some exposure to electronic trading and/or portfolio trading is preferred
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and external business partners within the broader fixed income space
- Organised and professional with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Italian are required; ability to speak Spanish is a plus
