This position allows you to gain valuable experience while leading classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Role Overview
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of lessons for groups of approximately 30 students across various subjects in secondary education. You do not need to be an expert in every subject; the lesson plans will be provided in advance, allowing you to focus on facilitating learning and managing classroom dynamics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating student learning and engagement.
- Managing classroom behavior effectively.
- Maintaining accurate attendance records.
- Providing a comprehensive handover to the regular teacher upon their return.
