Overview:
Fusion People Ltd is seeking skilled Panel Wirers / Electrical Assemblers to join our engineering team in the Burton-on-Trent area. This role is essential for ensuring that all components are assembled to the highest standards in accordance with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and modify steel racking systems as per project requirements.
  • Remove existing circuit boards and components from previous frameworks.
  • Install purchased equipment and circuit boards into electrical racks following technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop wiring harnesses for initial units.
  • Perform hard wiring of electronic racks based on technical schematics.

Future Responsibilities:
  • Install pre-assembled wiring harnesses.
  • Conduct soldering and crimping tasks.
  • Execute pin-to-pin testing.
  • Utilize electrical testing experience effectively.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including inspection sheets, and apply quality stamps as required.
  • Participate in training sessions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintain knowledge of panel wiring, cable management, and electrical systems.
  • Support and adhere to all relevant 5S activities.
  • Ensure proper maintenance practices are followed for all electrical equipment.
  • Dispose of waste materials responsibly.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions diligently.
  • Promote a culture of health and safety within the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety obligations and company policies.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly for investigation.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's ISO standards and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Service.
  • Previous experience in the rail or automotive sectors.
