About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also being responsible for a small staff team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and care for our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programmes for our young people.
  • Manage shift patterns on a rota basis and lead a small staff team.
  • Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure important information is relayed.
  • Provide a supportive and collaborative working environment, promoting the well-being and development of our young people and staff.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a children's home or residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Resilience and ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
