Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer at Ipsum, you will be responsible for carrying out various types of electrical work, including installation of electrical equipment from LV to 132kV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation of electrical equipment from LV to 132kV.
  • Work on the Scottish Power DNO Network.
  • Work on HV Private Networks.
  • Ability to panel wire to a high standard.
  • Install multi-core cabling.
  • Install containment for electrical systems.

Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of Electrical Power Systems.
  • Previous experience working on a DNO network/HV private networks (preferred).
  • Good organizational skills.
  • A hard-working, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative, and meet set deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise with colleagues and management.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Industry-recognized electrical qualifications.
  • 18th Edition regulations.
  • Inspection testing qualifications (preferred).
  • Scottish Power authorizations (desirable), including SR-3/4, WI-1, and EN-1.
