Your Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate social and recreational activities for service users in a safe and supportive setting.
- Gather information about service users' interests and preferences to ensure activities are engaging and meaningful.
- Maintain detailed records of observations, progress, and activity participation.
- Conduct basic risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and security protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Effectively manage resources and coordinate with other team members to deliver seamless activities.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in mental health settings or similar environments.
- Excellent group facilitation skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and service users.
- Initiative, motivation, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- A deep understanding of mental health challenges and their impact on individuals.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt activities based on individual requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
- A valid UK driver's license is essential for this role.
- Awareness of gender-specific and cultural needs within a diverse population.
