Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate social and recreational activities for service users in a safe and supportive setting.
  • Gather information about service users' interests and preferences to ensure activities are engaging and meaningful.
  • Maintain detailed records of observations, progress, and activity participation.
  • Conduct basic risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
  • Adhere to strict health, safety, and security protocols to maintain a secure environment.
  • Effectively manage resources and coordinate with other team members to deliver seamless activities.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in mental health settings or similar environments.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • Initiative, motivation, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • A deep understanding of mental health challenges and their impact on individuals.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt activities based on individual requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
  • A valid UK driver's license is essential for this role.
  • Awareness of gender-specific and cultural needs within a diverse population.
