We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Swift Resources Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our clients and their guests.
Key Responsibilities- Set up the kitchen prior to the start of shift, ensuring all necessary equipment and ingredients are available.
- Prepare a particular kitchen station by bringing all food containers, deliveries, and ingredients to the designated area.
- Cook a specific portion of each plated meal to the highest standard, ensuring presentation and quality are exceptional.
- Assist with marinating, cutting, and precooking foods as required, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Clean the kitchen before the end of shift, adhering to health and safety protocols and maintaining a high level of hygiene.
- Clean and sanitize your area with warm water and soap, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
- Wrap unused items and store them in proper areas at the end of a shift, minimizing waste and maintaining a tidy kitchen.
- Plate food creatively and maximize customer enjoyment, ensuring each dish is presented to the highest standard.
- Produce food of an impeccable standard in line with Country House Weddings and customer expectations, maintaining our reputation as Britain's Premier Wedding Venue.
- In the absence of the Head Chef, ensure that the same high standard of catering is achieved, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain food standards and quality procedures set out in the food manual, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all purchases are made in line with Country House Weddings procedures and make regular reference to the Bridesbook literature to ensure familiarity with menus and company policy regarding catering.
- Ensure that recipes of all menus are available and that all staff are adhering to these, maintaining consistency and quality across the kitchen team.
- Liaise with all in-house departments to ensure good communication between departments, maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to the preparation of new menus, working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop innovative and exciting dishes.
- Work a variety of shifts, including breakfast and buffet services, maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Maintain health and hygiene standards, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
- Hold up-to-date first aid training or be willing to take the necessary training, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
