Senior Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Sphere Solutions in the South West region.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a housing site in Okehampton, Devon, ensuring the production of high-quality units, maintaining on-site health and safety, and managing sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full site team, including an Assistant Site Manager and sub-contractors
  • Ensure compliance with NHBC processes and traditional build methods
  • Develop and maintain a strong local supply chain network
  • Monitor and report on site performance, health and safety, and quality
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve project goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in house building at a similar level
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern construction methods, processes, and current health and safety legislation
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and FAW certifications
  • Academic qualifications or trade background
