Job Description:
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Care Specialist to provide personalized support to an 81-year-old woman living with Alzheimer's dementia. The successful candidate will work closely with the client to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support the client in maintaining a clean and organized home environment.
- Encourage social interaction and engagement in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met.
- Female candidate preferred due to the client's personal care needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
- A competitive hourly rate of £15.00.
