Dental Nurse Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will work across various departments, providing a wide range of dental nursing duties and assisting in teaching undergraduate dental students and apprentices.
Main Responsibilities
The Dental Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and clean clinical environment
- Assisting clinicians with dental procedures and providing oral health advice
- Communicating effectively with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in the training and education of undergraduate dental students and apprentices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Qualifications in dental nursing, such as the NEBDN certificate or NVQ Level 3 in oral health
- Experience in chairside dental nursing and a variety of dental procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
