Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Primary School in the Borough of Lambeth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to children with Special Educational Needs, working closely with the SENCO and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties
  • Provide 1:1 and group support in and out of the classroom
  • Work alongside a range of professionals, including the SENCO
  • Attend weekly training sessions to develop skills and knowledge
  • Work across various phases, including EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Person Specification:
  • Degree educated (desirable, but not essential)
  • Outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality
  • Willingness to learn and take on multiple roles
  • Understanding of SEN and previous experience (desirable, but not essential)
