About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our optical department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients and provide clinical care in accordance with professional standards and guidelines.
  • Coach and train the wider team to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement new patient services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Work in partnership with the Optical Manager to create a clinical and operational environment that exceeds customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Registered performer with the NHS area team or health board.
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda).
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
