Software Development Team Lead

As a seasoned leader, you will spearhead a small team of skilled Software Developers in delivering our cutting-edge mCare product. Collaborating closely with the Product team and other stakeholders, you will drive the development process, defining requirements and delivering high-quality software. With a strong background in software development, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the team through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of software developers
  • Develop and maintain both client and server-side C# components
  • Produce high-quality design documentation for all software produced
  • Write unit tests for all new/changed code, ensuring adequate code and business logic test coverage
  • Drive the development process across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, leading software development teams to deliver complex projects
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Technical skills in.NET C#, SQL database, stored procedures, front-end and back-end development, TDD, BDD, and unit testing using Specflow, C#, and MS Test/XUnit
  • Experience with agile development and working across distributed teams
