Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Distilleries Technical Development Team at William Grant & Sons. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and technical excellence in our distilleries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new processes and technologies to improve raw material effectiveness, process efficiency, and flavor profile.
  • Conduct research and development activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in distillery operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new concepts and processes.
  • Analyze data and samples to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in distilleries brewing or plant science, with a strong understanding of analytical chemistry and laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with quality systems and process implementation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
