About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team at ECOM in Manchester. As a key member of our product engineering squad, you will play a crucial role in shaping our approach to software engineering and driving the development of cloud native and event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of greenfield cloud native systems using modern XP practices and DevOps principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement full-stack solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software using NET Core, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with the engineering squad to adopt and implement modern software engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the development of our overall software engineering strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in cloud native and event-driven systems.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including DevOps and XP.
  • Experience with NET Core, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
