Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Cleaning Site Manager at Ryedale School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the school's cleaning operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning activities of our team members, ensuring that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the school's facilities, including classrooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with their needs and priorities.
- Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and sufficient for the needs of the school.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities management role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- High level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
