About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Global Mile team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and optimizing sales performance across the US and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute business analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth
  • Build data visualization reports and tools to enable self-service consumption of data
  • Analyze and extract relevant information from large datasets to automate and optimize key processes
  • Define business problems and solution approaches autonomously to size and prioritize business growth opportunities
  • Partner with data engineering teams to improve data assets, quality, and insights
  • Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep dive investigations and future program development
About the Team

The US EMEA Sales Planning team was established in 2022 to support the growth of Global Mile sales and marketing teams. Our objective is to establish and iterate on strategic and tactical planning processes to help achieve business goals, maximize efficiency, and ROI.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analysis role
  • Experience working within a business intelligence function, with analytical and modelling experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or other data visualizations software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, eCommere, Retail
  • Ability to apply statistical techniques and facilitate market research
  • 5+ years of experience working in web analytics
  • High level of competence and skill set in business analysis
