Job Role
  • Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education to students.

Key Stage

This role is focused on supporting students in Key Stage 2.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm.

Contract Type

This is a fixed-term contract, ending in August 2025.

Actual Salary

The salary for this role is Grade C, Points 4 to 6, £23,114 to £23,893 Full Time Equivalent, subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £15,775.83.

RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience
  • A good standard of written and numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to use basic technology to support the role.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme, or equivalent.
  • Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
  • Understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
  • Emergency First Aid or First aid at work qualification.
  • Previous experience of working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
