Key StageThis role is focused on supporting students in Key Stage 2.
Working PatternThis is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm.
Contract TypeThis is a fixed-term contract, ending in August 2025.
Actual SalaryThe salary for this role is Grade C, Points 4 to 6, £23,114 to £23,893 Full Time Equivalent, subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £15,775.83.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience- A good standard of written and numeracy skills.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to use basic technology to support the role.
- Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
- Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme, or equivalent.
- Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
- Understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
- Emergency First Aid or First aid at work qualification.
- Previous experience of working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
- Membership to either the Teachers' Pension Scheme or the Local Government Pension Scheme.
