About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Operations PMO team at BDO UK LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating and actively managing projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and manage a portfolio of projects, including multi-streamed projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact.
  • Provide day-to-day management of key projects, acting as the 'voice of the business' into them.
  • Help plan and design 'outcome-focused' projects, monitoring progress against agreed parameters, identifying key risks, resolving issues, and initiating timely corrective action.
  • Enable project sponsors to focus on setting direction, providing SME input, building advocacy, and removing blockers.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Workday HCM, Workday Finance, or MSD CMS.
