Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be part of the team responsible for selling our products or services and maintaining relationships with assigned customer base. You will grow market share in regions and with assigned customers and take responsibility for expanding and developing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and generate all sales activities into assigned accounts
  • Conduct research, provide plans and proposals to further successful penetration into target accounts
  • Call on accounts, provide administrative product information and/or demonstrations and quotes appropriate pricing
  • Responsible for new lead generation
  • Responsible for meeting individual sales goals, building relationships, and influencing the mind share of the customer to increase sales and market share while maintaining a competitive position and yielding the highest possible returns on sales
  • Collect, compile, and analyze information to utilize in decision making and business strategies
  • Work with and through other departments within the company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements
  • Work closely at all levels within assigned accounts to identify all new opportunities for present and future products
  • Use appropriate internal resources to meet customer requirements/schedules

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of related experience in a similar sales role
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business in Storage
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership positioning of all Western Digital brands and portfolio
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage channel to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Experience in handling complex issues which require a high level of expertise in decision-making
  • Must be willing to travel both within the UK and to other countries in the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in channel, enterprise, and e-tail sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mind-set
