Senior Finance Coordinator

M4 Recruitment - Swindon Division is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing financial support to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Receivable:
- Process and manage all incoming payments, including creation of ID Factoring Schedules and management of customer portals.
- Track and action retentions, credit control, and customer queries.
- Manage deferred income invoices and credits, and perform monthly reconciliation.
- Ensure all unallocated receipts are allocated and daily ID Factoring cashflow analysis is performed.
Account Payable:
- Manage project costs data into Sage 50 and prepare the monthly supplier pay run.
- Input and review purchase invoices on Sage 50, ensuring proper coding and nominal allocation.
- Work cohesively with projects to review sub-contractor purchase invoices and handle all queries.
- Monitor employee expense claims and manage and maintain pending purchase invoices, including monthly reconciliation.
Reconciliations & Month End Reporting:
- Manage and maintain CIS Statements, associated credit note, and input into Sage, produce monthly report and upload to HMRC.
- Reconcile all Bank Accounts and prepare and submit the monthly VAT return, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Drive and maintain month end processes are completed within all functions ready for project reconciliation.
- Create monthly payroll financials and payroll analysis, and create monthly pension contributions and upload summaries.
Other Finance Areas:
- Manage the finance inbox and serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries.
- Collate and create financial information for scrum notes and assist in implementing new procurement procedures and systems to improve efficiencies.
- Primary contact with all stock queries with the Production department and administration of post.
- Maintain all reports within Sage 50 and maintain sign off of small projects, ensuring risk mitigations have been carried out.
- Update Financial Contractual Information with all retentions payments and deputise for the finance department with support by the Managing Director.
- Update commentary on monthly management reports and support other functions with financial queries.
