The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a highly skilled Carbon Management Lead to join our team on the Sizewell C project. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in leading the development of carbon management resources and ensuring the successful implementation of low-carbon solutions across the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement carbon management strategies to minimize the project's carbon footprint.
  • Collaborate with project teams to embed low-carbon practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development of carbon reporting and deliverables, including baselines, forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Provide guidance on carbon assessment and impact mitigation to project teams.
  • Manage and support the development and implementation of low-carbon enhancements and incentive business cases.
  • Assist technical delivery groups with low-carbon solutions for fuel, asphalt, concrete, and steel.

Requirements:

  • Science-based background with a relevant BSc or equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Carbon, Energy, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with carbon reporting standards and regulatory regimes.
  • Proficiency in Office applications and analytical tools.
  • Determination and excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • MSc in Sustainability, Carbon, Energy, or a related field.
  • Experience in collaborative project environments to achieve optimal outcomes.
