Overview
The Business Systems Team operates within the Finance and Business Support division of Route Services. This team comprises three specialized units: Solutions & Training, Development, and Support. The position is part of the Solutions & Training unit, dedicated to facilitating the integration and utilization of innovative web systems for our clients in Supply Chain Operations and Contracts & Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and manage project and organizational change support concerning systems owned by Route Services.
- Oversee business change initiatives aligned with project execution to ensure the successful adoption of new systems and enhancements.
- Direct project implementation throughout the delivery lifecycle, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish and achieve realistic timelines.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, collaborating with suppliers and internal development teams to devise solutions that enhance business processes.
- Provide both strategic and tactical guidance to departments regarding business systems, enabling informed decision-making.
- Manage system testing protocols, ensuring that new and upgraded systems accurately validate and fulfill business requirements.
- Support the identification and execution of quality and efficiency improvement initiatives within Network Rail and Route Services, promoting continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies.
- Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including user groups, workshops, and informational sessions to foster customer relationships and maintain open communication channels.
- Create training plans and materials, schedule, and conduct systems training for users of Route Services systems, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and access pertinent to their roles.
