Reed is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is crucial to the financial operations of the company, encompassing a range of responsibilities from credit control to liaising with external accountants.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payments and cash flow, maintaining a healthy financial position for the company.
- Conduct weekly pay runs and handle ad hoc payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
- Review and reconcile Profit/Loss statements in accounts, ensuring accuracy between Xero and quantum figures, and providing insightful financial analysis.
- Reconcile commissions for sales personnel, ensuring fair compensation and accurate financial records.
- Manage security deposit recoveries, maintaining a positive cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
- Liaise with external accountants for financial reporting and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in financial management and the ability to manage financial operations independently, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Availability to work approximately 22 hours per week over 3 days, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- A focused and driven individual with strong communication skills, able to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Proficiency in IT with previous experience using Xero highly desirable, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new financial systems.
